Restoring Sight in Bangladesh

This mixed media documentary short explores the crisis of cataract blindness in Bangladesh.

This was Tatiana McCabe’s Master's Thesis project while studying Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts in 2012 and became the launching pad for her interest in exploring the effectiveness of using animation within documentary film.

Restoring Sight in Bangladesh won an Adobe Design Achievement Award for Motion Graphics (2012) as well as multiple awards at science and advocacy focused film festivals.
